I was born and raised in Humboldt County, during the summers of my childhood I would spend my time on our family farm collecting eggs and helping feed the horses and cows, I was always willing to help. I have had a passion for animals my entire life, growing up we always had some sort of animals, including our family labrador, bunnies, fish, goats, and reptiles. My love for animals grew quickly when I joined my local 4-H group in Arcata, I raised dairy goats and learned how to take care of a lot of different livestock animals. I started at a grooming salon in 2012, learning how to bathe and groom dogs and cats. I loved it and was instantly hooked. When I left for college I went off in a different direction going to dental assisting school, but I was still working at a local grooming salon next to my school. After I finished school I worked as a dental assistant for a few months but missed working with the animals. So I followed my heart and went back to grooming. I knew this was where my heart was and I wanted to be the best groomer I could be. I have attended a lot of grooming seminars and continued education. Taking care of pets is what I've always wanted to do and when I found grooming I knew this was what I was meant to do.
